First, let me offer my apologies for letting this blog lapse for so long. I have a full-time job in which August becomes the busiest month of my life and on top of that I had seminars to teach in September. So I spent free time prepping slide shows, handouts, and scripts. Those obligations have been successfully completed so that I can come back and communicate the weekly astrological forecast. I am also working on a type of reading that includes astrology. I will be announcing that soon!
We just passed the new moon in Libra that occurred on September 28, 2019 so that energy of new partnerships, relationships, bring a new balance to your life will continue to influence the atmosphere for the next two weeks.
For Monday, Sept. 30 & Tuesday, Oct. 1, Venus (transiting Libra) is in a square with Pluto (transiting Capricorn). Square aspects create conflict between the two planets and the energies they rule. Venus in Libra, is all about relationships and partnerships of all kinds, while Pluto is about power, control, transformative changes. On a deeper level this is about imbalance in the masculine and feminine energies in ourselves and our planet. The divine feminine is trying to reclaim its power and bring balance to society. In ourselves this may present as power-struggles between people. Is someone trying to control you? Are you trying to control someone else? Take a look at your relationships this week.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2 & Thursday, Oct. 3, there are two aspects in the astrology happening:
1. Pluto, which has been retrograde for the last six months, turns into direct motion. This aspect will intensify the square with Venus as described above. This also means that all the deepest desires you have been pondering over the last six months can potentially be fulfilled. Transformation can move into reality.
2. Mercury moves from the sign of Libra into the sign of Scorpio. Mercury the planet that rules our mind, thoughts, communications, and its move into Scorpio means you will go deeper into your subconscious. There may also be potential for anxiety or frenzied thinking when Mercury opposes Uranus on Oct. 6, but you just need to be mindful, slow down, and listen more than talk. Be careful of sharing those opinions. Usually, we would only experience Mercury in Scorpio for three weeks, but by the end of October, Mercury will retrograde which means 9 weeks of this energy.
Last but not least, by Friday Oct. 4, Mars moves out of the sign of Virgo and moves into Libra. Mars, the planet of action, doesn't really feel comfortable in Libra, which demands balance. Mars is not at full power, but that is okay because Libra's influence means that diplomacy is up and actions taken are for everyone's benefit.
