Astrology for the week of June 3-9

We have  great energies to harness this week with the opportunity to set big intentions into motion. Don't hesitate to dream big!!!


To start the week, there is a new Moon in Gemini on June 3. It is a chance for us to set new intentions on the mental level. Gemini rules the mental realm, learning, and communication. The new moon and new start begins in the mind. Every action we take begins with a thought. Powerful new intentions can be made this month, but it all starts with our thoughts.

This is important because the new Moon (in Gemini) is in opposition to Jupiter (transiting Sagittarius) which means the energy is pushing us to review and evaluate our long held beliefs. Are those beliefs still true and for our highest good at this time?

To further complicate matters, the Moon is also square to Neptune (in Pisces). Neptune likes to cloud up the thinking. Aspects that square two heavenly bodies against each other mean that there is a conflict which will force us to take action. If you have doubts about what intention to set, listen to your deep intuitive voice. The positive factor in this aspect is that there is an opportunity to create our own realities. Our imaginations will get a boost from Neptune. Big dreams can be set into motion with this new Moon. 


On June 4, Mercury, the planet that rules Gemini, moves from Gemini into Cancer and stays there until June 26. The mental focus and energy shifts to family and home. Communication may be more emotional under the water sign of Cancer.

On June 8, Venus moves from Taurus into Gemini where she can be extra flirty. As if Gemini's need that boost!  She will be in Gemini until July 3 and this is your opportunity to generate new ideas around money and finance.

Starting on June 9 and going into June 10, the Sun squares Neptune as well bring confusing energy to the collective.

Astrology for the week of May 27 - June 2, 2019

If I was writing your horoscope for this week it would say:

Be careful of what you say in conversation or what you share/retweet in social media this week. Be present in all conversations and actively listen. Sharing incorrect information could go viral in a very bad way. Use your best judgement. There is also great potential to connect with someone on a karmic or soul level. Be social, but not gossipy. 

The reason for the alert in the above "horoscope" is that on May 29,  Mercury, who is now in Gemini squares (opposes) Neptune, Mercury also squares Jupiter, making a T-square in which Jupiter and Neptune have already been and remain in opposition. 

So this means Mercury, the planet of communication is in conflict with Neptune, the planet of mystery and illusion and both are in conflict with Jupiter, the planet of expansion, optimism, and joy. The information you read and hear may be unclear or inaccurate under Neptune's influence, and Mercury wants to communicate accurately and clearly. That is going to be a challenge this week under these energies. In addition be careful what you say as the listener may misunderstand your message. Jupiter's influence on all of this is that he likes to expand whatever he touches and miscommunication and misunderstandings could get out of control.

I realize that no one can get through a day without communicating with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and clients, whether it is in person, on the phone or online. The best advice I can give is be present in all conversations, actively listen, verify facts before passing them along and don't give into gossip.

At the end of the week (May 31 & June 2), Venus trines (makes a positive connection) to Saturn and Pluto respectively. Venus, who is in her home sign of Taurus, will help ground the energies of the week in reality. Venus rules relationships and money. Under the influence of Saturn the planet of life lessons/Karma, and Pluto, the planet of transformation, an opportunity at the end of the week to manifest a positive (and possibly karmic) financial situation or new relationship may materialize. This could come from a random conversation! 

While it may be tempting to retreat from the world completely because of the Mercury-Neptune-Jupiter energies, don't! Conversations at the end of the week may lead to a relationship or financial opportunity with lasting impact.
