This week starts off big with Jupiter, after a year of living comfortably in its home sign of Sagittarius, moves into the earth sign of Capricorn, where it will sit for the next year. What effect with this have? What does it mean? Let's break it down.
Jupiter is the planet of good luck, success, optimism, knowledge, higher learning, and anything philosophical. Jupiter's energy is expansive and abundant. It wants to elevate your energy of joy, bring you new experiences and expand your opportunities. It rules the zodiac sign Sagittarius, so it spent the last year in a very comfortable placement.
As it moves into Capricorn, a sign that is focused on your earthly existence of work, health, day-to-day routines, Jupiter will feel restricted and confined. Its expansive energy will not disappear but it will be channeled to ambition about your purpose, career, and goals. Hard work will be required, but you will be rewarded in the end.
Another factor to keep in mind is that Jupiter now joins Venus, Pluto, and Saturn in the sign of Capricorn. These planets will be influencing each other while all in the same house. Some of the good aspects that could occur would be sound judgement in financial matters and the ability to break with the past and start anew. Jupiter can also expand the less than positive aspects of Saturn and Pluto, with domineering behavior, pessimism and disempowering tendencies.
On Monday & Tuesday, December 2-3, Venus (in Capricorn) is in a sextile to Mars (in Scorpio). In mythology Venus and Mars were lovers and with this aspect, the lovers are back! Sexual and romantic energy is in the atmosphere, so make a date-night with the one you love!
On December 7, the Sun (in Sagittarius) squares Neptune (in Pisces). The conflict between these two cosmic bodies will result in confusion and indecision. Not all the facts will come to light or the brain will be foggy. So wait a few days before you make any major decisions.
