Jupiter Moves Signs! Astrology Forecast, Dec 2-7, 2019

Hello Folks!

This week starts off big with Jupiter, after a year of living comfortably in its home sign of Sagittarius, moves into the earth sign of Capricorn, where it will sit for the next year. What effect with this have? What does it mean? Let's break it down.

Jupiter is the planet of good luck, success, optimism, knowledge, higher learning, and anything philosophical. Jupiter's energy is expansive and abundant. It wants to elevate your energy of joy, bring you new experiences and expand your opportunities. It rules the zodiac sign Sagittarius, so it spent the last year in a very comfortable placement.

As it moves into Capricorn, a sign that is focused on your earthly existence of work, health, day-to-day routines, Jupiter will feel restricted and confined. Its expansive energy will not disappear but it will be channeled to ambition about your purpose, career, and goals. Hard work will be required, but you will be rewarded in the end.

Another factor to keep in mind is that Jupiter now joins Venus, Pluto, and Saturn in the sign of Capricorn. These planets will be influencing each other while all in the same house. Some of the good aspects that could occur would be sound judgement in financial matters and the ability to break with the past and start anew. Jupiter can also expand the less than positive aspects of Saturn and Pluto, with domineering behavior, pessimism and disempowering tendencies.

On Monday & Tuesday, December 2-3, Venus (in Capricorn) is in a sextile to Mars (in Scorpio). In mythology Venus and Mars were lovers and with this aspect, the lovers are back! Sexual and romantic energy is in the atmosphere, so make a date-night with the one you love!

On December 7, the Sun (in Sagittarius) squares Neptune (in Pisces). The conflict between these two cosmic bodies will result in confusion and indecision. Not all the facts will come to light or the brain will be foggy. So wait a few days before you make any major decisions.

Time to Move Forward -- Astrology Forecast for November 25-December 1, 2019

Greetings Friends!

The theme this week is all about forward movement for yourself, your ideas, your plans and your path. We have a new moon, a planet moves into a new sign, and another planet goes from retrograde to direct motion. The positive forward moving energies are there but we have to make the effort to take advantage of them.

On November 25, Venus leaves Sagittarius and moves into the sign of Capricorn. Venus is usually happy and carefree, spreading her love everywhere, but when she goes into the house of Capricorn, she will be influenced by its serious tone. Venus will be more reserved and grounded. The influence this will have on us is that we may get more serious about a romance, relationship, or money. The grounded effect may also help us have our social graces in place just in time for the holidays. We may be more compassionate, giving, and considerate of family members and others.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the New Moon in Sagittarius will allow us to have a fresh start with any projects that expand our horizons of experience, knowledge and information. Sagittarius is an optimistic sign that rules law, philosophy, travel, education, language, and anything that expands our horizons of understanding and knowledge. Maybe there will be an opportunity for you to teach or learn a new subject, information may also come in that you didn't have access to before and that changes the course of your project.

For Wednesday, Nov. 27, the planet Neptune, which has been in retrograde in the sign of Pisces, goes direct. While Neptune has been in retrograde, it has been an optimum time to dream big about your desires or envision your future. Once Neptune goes direct, that's the time to put those dreams into a plan and make them happen in reality.

You and your dreams will get further support on Thursday, Nov. 28 when Mercury trines Neptune and Venus trines Uranus. Those energies will help you organize and communicate your plans. The resources may show up suddenly that will allow you to fund or support making your dreams a reality.

The weekend of November 30/December 1 brings more energy that will help you go forward with Mercury in sextile to Saturn. This aspect has the influence of communication and organization of long-range plans for the future. Long-range investments. So if your dream includes a long-term goal or a major lifestyle change then this energy should help.

Transformation Energies, Astrology of the Week, Nov 11-17, 2019

Hello Folks!
What a great week this is going to be astrologically. There will be some intense energies but they come with the opportunity for all of us to transform ourselves and the environment around us. As I look over the week, which I outlined below, I see a definite story being played from the inside to the outside. The Sun and Mercury (in retrograde) are still in Scorpio. Pluto and Saturn are in Capricorn. Neptune is in Pisces, and Venus is in Sagittarius. The Moon moves quickly through the zodiac, so I will indicate its location with each aspect below.

We start with something deep inside being revealed and illuminated into our consciousness on Monday, November 11, with the Sun conjunct with Mercury. A conjunction between two cosmic bodies results in the intensification of their energies. On top of that both are in Scorpio. So not only do they intensify their individual energies they boost it in a Scorpionic way. This could be an ah-ha moment.

So what deep thoughts, internal programming or values will come up from the unconscious into the light of awareness for you? What will you do with it when you become aware? Release it under the Full Moon perhaps?

Then we sail into a jam packed Tuesday, Nov. 12, with the Full Moon and two aspects (one negative and one positive) to that Moon. The full moon is at 19 degrees of Taurus. The full moon gives us an opportunity to bring something to completion or to release something from our lives. The issue here is that Taurus is a fixed sign and doesn't like to let go of anything. It is being pushed by the other aspects, especially the Sun and Mercury, as the Moon is in opposition to Mercury. This opposition aspect is really pushing us to look at what we value in the material world -- the luxuries that we enjoy. Are you enjoying the material world (too much money, food, sex, stuff) to excess? Does that support the spiritual side of you? The soul/spirit is asking us to have discipline and bring balance to our lives between the material and soul. Taurus may resist but we have other energetic support in the Full Moon Trine to Pluto aspect also happening on Tuesday. Pluto is the ruler of symbolic death and rebirth. This full moon and its aspects bring incredible opportunities for seismic transformation in ourselves and our lives.

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, we have the energies of three more interesting aspects.
First Mercury Trines Neptune, so that might trigger or fine tune your psychic abilities. It may also help your intuition when it comes to determining what motives people have around you. Listen carefully to your intuition. The second aspect of the day is that Mercury is in Sextile to Saturn -- look for the opportunity to manifest (make something happen) in your life. Lastly, the Sun is also having Sextile with Pluto -- you are feeling confident about transformation. Perhaps you have figured out your path and purpose.

Venus is in a Square, or challenging aspect, to Neptune on Thursday, Nov. 14. Perhaps a relationship in your life is not based in reality. Be careful of deception, of the self and by others. There could also be money issues here too.

There you have it. Opportunities to grow and transform as a person and community. My hope is that by knowing about the energies you can take advantage of them. You are not a victim, you can ride the energy waves.

Power Struggles & Deep Conversations -- Astrology of November 4-10, 2019

Good Morning Folks!

My apologies for the short post, I had a very busy weekend. Overall advice is to lay low at the beginning of the week and come out later in the week to look for opportunities.

Let's dive right into the week with a major aspect on Monday and Tuesday (Nov 4-5), depending where you are in the world, with a Square aspect between Mars (in Libra) and Pluto (in Capricorn). Mars the planet of action and pushing forward challenges the planet of transformation, death & rebirth. Both of these planets ruled Scorpio, the zodiac sign we are currently transiting. Mars was the ruler of Scorpio until Pluto was discovered in the 1940s. Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio.

So what we have is both of these ruling planets go head to head in a power struggle of dominance and control. Be alert and aware of your surroundings today. People may be impatient or experience road rage. Avoid conflict if you can. 

On Friday, Nov. 8, we have a menage a trois of planets in positive aspects to each other.  

Sun (in Scorpio) trine to Neptune (in Pisces)
Sun is in a sextile with Saturn (in Capricorn), 
Saturn is in sextile to Neptune.

On Saturday, Nov 9, Mercury (retrograde/in Scorpio) sextile to Pluto 9 (in Capricorn)

The trine aspect between the Sun and Neptune is harmonious, bringing your dreams to light or reality. The sextile aspects are opportunities that you need to look for and act on, so be open to any new opportunities that you find. Something spiritual may manifest and the Mercury/Pluto sextile may pave the way for a deep conversation with someone.

Astrology of the week, Oct. 14-20, 2019

Hello Friends!
As the week begins we are still under the influence of the full moon in Aries energy. It is a very action-oriented moon but was in conflict with Pluto creating the potential extreme mood swings.

On Monday, Oct. 14, the Sun squares Pluto. This is not the greatest or best aspect to start the week unfortunately. There may be chaos in the environment that you will wish to try to control. Some things are not under control and happen so that we may be pushed towards transformation or spiritual evolution. Try to let go of that which you cannot control.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the planet Mercury is in a trine with Neptune. Thinking and communication are in harmony with the creative idealistic Neptune. You may be especially sensitive since the chaos the day before and your psychic powers are firing on all cylinders. Tap into your creativity today. That will help relieve the stress of the last few days with the difficult conflicts at the full moon on Monday.

Next weekend, Mercury is in a sextile with Pluto on Saturday (Oct 19) and Venus is in a sextile with Saturn on Sunday (Oct 20). For the Mercury-Pluto aspect, transformation may come when you dig for answers or information. Reassess the emotions your dealt with over the past week, what patterns and emotions did you experience? What tripped your trigger? Think about how you can change this.

The Venus-Saturn aspect signals a constructive course of action moving forward either in the workplace or in a relationship. Our values are grounded at the end of the week and as you look back at this past week, what is not working for you? What do you need to let go of in order to bring in something better? Big reassessment time for the weekend. Find quiet  time to think.
